About the role
The Springfield Public Schools are seeking a MLL Elementary Paraprofessional to join their dynamic team. This position is funded through Title III and is based at Dryden Memorial Elementary School.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in all classroom activities.
- Aid in the thematic planning approach.
- Support the implementation of the WIDA standards for English language development.
- Select and develop materials for the program.
- Perform breakfast and lunch duties.
- Assume afternoon bus duties.

- Sixty (60) credit hours of college coursework or an Associate’s Degree, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment or WorkKeys Certificate of Proficiency for Teacher Assistants.
- A current authorization to work in the United States.
- A passing score on the WorkKeys Exams in Reading: 5, Math: 4, and Writing: 3.

Pay
The salary for this position is according to the Paraprofessional Contract.
Schedule
