About the role

The Center for Hope is LifeBridge Health's hospital-based violence intervention program — one of the only programs in Maryland treating violence as a public health crisis. Our bilingual Mental Health Therapists provide trauma-informed outpatient therapy to survivors and families, supported by a multidisciplinary team and weekly clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy to survivors of psychological trauma and violence, using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
  • Conduct thorough intake evaluations and manage an ongoing outpatient caseload
  • Develop and implement culturally responsive treatment plans that reflect each participant's background and lived experience
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and community partners to ensure coordinated, whole-person care

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Active Maryland licensure: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish (required)
  • 1–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed or community-based settings
  • Availability to work 3 evenings per week (schedule: Monday–Thursday 10am–7pm, Friday 9am–5pm)
  • Comfort with hybrid in-office and remote/virtual service delivery

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$74 to $85K dependent on experience and internal equity

Schedule

Full-time - Day and Evening shifts - 9:00am-5:30pm
