Bilingual Medical Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy clinic. This role is essential in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care while supporting both clinical and front-office operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately collect and document patient demographics and medical histories
  • Triage patients based on presenting symptoms and urgency of care needs
  • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required
  • Provide patient education, instructions, and support
  • Schedule appointments and assist with front desk operations as needed
  • Verify insurance information and ensure accurate documentation for billing purposes
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced clinic or urgent care environment
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Additional Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certification, Registration, or Diploma
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience with appointment scheduling and patient care coordination

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Onsite position at a primary care/urgent care clinic
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime
  • May require floating to other clinic locations based on operational needs
