About the role
RADCO is a multifamily industry leader recognized for its commitment to excellence and employee satisfaction. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our properties.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the property is always well kept and maintained, addressing any safety concerns immediately.
- Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and the Property Manager.
- Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, including HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance, if applicable.
- Remove and transfer appliances and equipment to/from storage area to apartments as circumstances warrant and assist in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc. to the dumpster.
- Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor.
- Perform on-call emergency service requests when scheduled. When on call, emergency after-hours calls will require an immediate response and arrival at the property no more than an hour after the call is received. On call bonus incentives will be provided.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, prospects, and visitors.
- Demonstrate RADCO’s value of Caring by treating residents, vendors, coworkers, and supervisors with respect and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family settings.
- Proven knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills.
- Possess proven knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance, if applicable.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and exhibits pride in quality of work.
- Takes initiative and self-motivated to complete tasks at hand.
- Available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as scheduled for on-call service requests.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
