What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound sales calls and assist customers in both English and Spanish
- Help customers with component, accessory, and material orders
- Provide product information, pricing, availability, and order updates
- Support the sales team with quotes, order entry, and customer follow-up
- Learn how to read basic construction drawings and understand customer project needs
- Assist with preparing quotes using internal systems and tools
- Follow up on open quotes, customer requests, and sales inquiries
- Maintain accurate customer, quote, and order information in CRM and internal systems
- Partner with production, engineering, and customer service teams to help ensure orders are accurate and processed on time
- Develop strong product knowledge across steel building components, materials, and systems
- Support senior sales representatives with pipeline follow-up and administrative tasks
- Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- 2 to 3 years of customer service, inside sales, sales support, or related experience
- Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence
- Ability to assist customers with patience, accuracy, and confidence
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn steel building products, quoting, and construction terminology
- Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry and internal systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong follow-through
- Positive attitude and willingness to be coached
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, building materials, or steel products
- Prior inside sales or sales support experience
- Experience with quotes, order entry, CRM systems, or customer follow-up
- Ability to read construction drawings or willingness to learn
- Experience working with contractors, builders, or trade customers
Compensation & Growth
