About the role
Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor in the United States, is seeking a Human Resources Field Coordinator to support their utility-scale solar project in Okolona, MS.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR and administrative resource for assigned project sites
- Support field leadership with day-to-day workforce and personnel needs
- Process and audit employee timekeeping to ensure payroll accuracy
- Cook up onboarding activities, including pre-employment requirements and new hire readiness
- Coordinate employee transfers, promotions, pay changes, and offboarding activities
- Aid with employee relations matters and escalate concerns when appropriate
- Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and building local talent pipelines
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
- Support compliance initiatives, audits, apprenticeship programs, and special projects
- Support DOT and workforce development programs as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of administrative, HR, payroll, or workforce coordination experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Bilingual Spanish and/or Creole is a plus
- Construction industry experience is preferred but not required
