Bilingual Home Care Aide (PCA)

About the role

Carefully nurturing the well-being of individuals in their homes, our Bilingual Home Care Aides play a vital role in supporting their clients' daily needs and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, transfers, positioning, ambulation, dressing, and medication reminders.
• Lives-in and sleep-over services, securing clients' homes and providing reassurance during nighttime hours (Washington and Oregon does not provide this service).
• Utilizes Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program as applicable.
• Affords assistance with household tasks directly essential to client's personal care, accompanying clients to medical appointments, performing errands, measuring and recording vital signs, preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reporting activities and observations.
• Notifies the Branch Manager immediately of any incidents or accidents.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Fluent in Spanish
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good time management skills
• Solid communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and their families keeping personal matters confidential
• Solid commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs

Our pay range for this role is $13.00 to $20.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
