About the role
Cheer Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled in Alpine, San Diego County. Services focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.
Responsibilities
- Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep
- Transportation services to clients for medical appointments
- Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more
- Hourly and 24/7 Care
- Light housekeeping and organization
Requirements
- Language: Must be proficient in both written and spoken Spanish
- Experience: Prior experience working with clients experiencing dementia or memory care needs
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive the client in their personal vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)
- Technology: Must have a personal cell phone with reliable internet access
- Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- HHA (Home Health Aide)
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
Pay
Hourly Rate: $20 to $23, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, car access, and more. Weekly payments.
Schedule
Shifts: Monday-Sunday, 7 hour shifts (9AM-4PM). Full-time or part-time, based on your availability and travel preferences.
