About the role
The Trenton Board of Education seeks to hire an Elementary Teacher or Bilingual Elementary Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
- Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
- Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification.
Qualifications
- All certificated positions require a valid certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE).
- Applicants must upload proof of the appropriate certification for the position they are applying for at the time of application.
Benefits
- Eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental, and enrollment in the applicable NJ State Pension Program.
Pay
- $71,525 - $117,475 annually.
Schedule
- Full-Time (10-Month Employee).
