About the role
At Sherwin‑Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters. Color Mixer Specialists tint and mix paint to customer specification. They work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, and recommend solutions. They stay up‑to‑date with product features, maintain high quality and visual standards, achieve excellent customer service while meeting store sales goals. The role is based at Store #2531, 4915 Arendell St, Ste F, Morehead City, NC 28557. This is a full‑time position. The starting pay is $16.50 per hour. The position involves contact with customers (including minors) and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other valuables, which may be supervised or unsupervised; therefore a criminal history review is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
- Preparing drawdowns for submittal to customers
- Clean, fill, and repair equipment, as needed
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks
- Assist in making deliveries, as needed
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Process sales transactions accurately
