About the role
The Color Mixer Specialists at Sherwin-Williams prepare customers' paint orders, tint and mix products, and assist in maintaining the store's high-quality standards. They also interact with customers, handle cash, and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
- Prepare drawdowns for submittal to customers
- Clean, fill, and repair equipment, as needed
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks
- Absorb and assist in making deliveries, as needed
- Absorb and assist in providing customer service, answering questions, and recommending products
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Suggest ways to improve sales
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future, able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Preferred Qualifications: Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License, High School diploma or GED, at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products, previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment, Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

Pay
The starting rate of pay is $15.30.
Schedule
This is a part-time position, working up to 28 hours per week.
