Bilingual Chinese/English Warehouse Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Specialist ensures smooth operations and efficient completion of projects, in the daily activities in the department.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
• Provides support to the Warehouse Supervisors with the daily warehouse workflow.
• Assists with conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including the forklift.
• Affixes with the inspections for the quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the department.
• Maintains detailed and accurate warehouse work records.
• Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve departmental effectiveness and implements viable ideas.
• Orders new equipment as requested by management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organization, with attention to details.
• Knowledge of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: At least 1-2 years of related warehouse work experience
• REQUIRED: Chinese and English proficiency.
• REQUIRED: ERP inventory and FTZ system experience.
• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED EQUIVALENT REQUIRED; ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE PREFERRED.
