What You'll Be Doing
- Aiding in transfers and moving clients within their homes
- Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
- Cooking and preparing meals and snacks
- Making errands or accompanying clients to medical appointments
- Providing assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving
- Reminding clients about taking medications
- Supporting prescribed range of motion exercises
- Offering companionship through activities like reading, playing music, and solving puzzles
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Fluency in English
- Pass a background check
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) preferred but not required
