Bilingual Branch Operations Intern

Overview

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for their Branch Operations program. As a Branch Ops Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and learn about various career paths within the company.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
• Absorb daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings including allocating files for document preparation; auditing closed files; preparing files for funding.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and career potential within Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).
• Receive an overview of the company's benefits during the program.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.
