Bike Park Trail Crew

Job Responsibilities

• Buils and maintains trails to professional standards, ensuring stability, sustainability, and appropriate trail ratings.
• Constructs "go-arounds" on blue, black, and double black diamond trails to provide low-risk alternatives.
• Manages water drainage to minimize erosion and enhance trail sustainability.
• Ensures proper finish on trail work by clearing debris, seeding disturbed areas, and maintaining berms and features.
• Performs manual labor and operates heavy equipment like excavators, skid steers, ATVs, and chainsaws.
• Ensures safety during equipment operation and conducts regular equipment inspections.
• Maintains a presence at races and events, offering support as needed.
• Assists with other bike park operations and events as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be an Downhill Mountain Biker and have the ability to ride all levels of trails in the Bike Park.
• Well versed in all aspects of cross-country biking to meet demands of growing sport.
• Two years previous trail building and maintenance experience, preferably in a bike park environment.
• Two years previous heavy equipment, chainsaws and power tools experience.
• Two years experience operating a variety of heavy equipment in a trail building capacity.
