Bijbaan HBO/WO Pedagogisch Professional in ’t Gooi
About Humankind
Humankind is a leading organization in the Netherlands focused on child development. Starting in 1983 as a childcare provider, we now go much further. With around 2,900 employees, we apply our pedagogical expertise with heart, mind, and hands to ensure the optimal growth and flourishing of every child. Humankind is small, close, warm, and tender, yet also grand and ambitious. We contribute to a better society because every child who grows into a strong adult makes our world more beautiful.
About the role
We are looking for a part-time student employee to join Humankind childcare and development. This role offers not only financial benefits but also valuable experience relevant to your studies. You will bridge the gap between theory and practice while contributing to the development of future professionals—whether they dream of becoming YouTubers, bakers, dancers, or astronauts.
We offer a meaningful part-time job near you, with working hours tailored to your availability. This allows you to combine studying, working, and gaining practical experience seamlessly. If you prefer to work only during holidays, that’s possible too!
Requirements
- You are pursuing a qualified HBO program that allows you to work in childcare, such as PABO, HBO Pedagogiek, SPH, Toegepaste Psychologie (with a specialization in children), Social Work (Youth profile), ALO, or similar. Check your eligibility here.
- Children feel comfortable around you, and you feel comfortable around them.
- You are independent and work well in a team.
- You are looking for a part-time or holiday job where you can grow both professionally and personally.
- You see working with children as a valuable addition to your studies and future career.
- You are flexible and available for full or half days. Even if you can only work a few hours, we’d love to talk.
What we offer
- A relevant part-time job alongside your studies.
- Salary according to the CAO Kinderopvang scale 6, ranging from €2,641 to €3,630 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek.
- A one-year contract with flexible working days and hours in a varied role.
- Opportunities for growth if you perform well.
- A thorough onboarding program and access to diverse training courses.
- The best colleagues!
During the summer, we develop a fun program for our children, who are also on vacation. Together with the children, you’ll go on adventures and have fun—whether it’s a trip to the zoo, a sports activity, a scavenger hunt, or lots of water fun. You can continue this part-time job after the holidays if you’d like.
