BigData PySpark Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy solutions in Big Data, HIVE, UNIX, Spark SQL, and Hadoop.
• Knowledge in Big data tools such as Spark and HiveQL is desirable.
• Effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
• Apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing, and general best practices.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality code with low rates of production defects.
• Research and recommend technologies to improve current systems.
• Communicate status and risks to stakeholders and escalate as necessary.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Learn new skills quickly with minimal supervision and ensure attention to detail on high-priority items.
• Communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and maintain strong interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Efficiently and effectively manage work, time, and resources.
• Show strong problem-solving and program execution skills, while maintaining a process-oriented approach.
