Bid Manager
Job Summary
The Sales Enablement & Bid Management Team includes client-focused, collaborative, and high-performing professionals who are strategically aligned to BDO’s market development and growth priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develops and manages an effective proposal process for high-value, complex and strategic pursuits based on best practices to ensure BDO is producing quality proposals nationally
- Develops and deploys appropriate tools and templates to support the proposal process
- Develops and maintains pitch tools including best practices and guidelines, templates for presentations, credentials and pitch books, tools and templates for proposal development, frequently asked questions, etc.
- Maintains approved client lists by service and industry
- Provides PPT design and formatting support for proposals and presentations
- Develops and maintains database of formatted partner biographies and bio templates
- Reviews proposals to ensure compliance with Firm guidelines
- Creates and maintains archive of proposals
- Develops and implements training on proposal/presentation and credentials development
- PARTNERS Closely with pursuit team and other professionals to determine and manage strategy, messaging, win themes, points of distinction and key success factors that are tailored to the needs of the client and differentiate BDO to produce a compelling, focused proposal document

Education/Experience
- Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing or other related field and 4 or more years of proposal related, writing, marketing and communications, project management or sales experience OR 5 or more years of proposal related, writing, marketing and communications, project management or sales experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing or other relevant field preferred
Software Experience
- Using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel with emphasis on and advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
