Bid Intelligence & Automation Lead, Amazon Business - CPS
About the role
The Bid Capture team is transforming from reactive, manual operations to a data-driven function powered by AI-enabled decisioning. This role builds and maintains the technical infrastructure that makes that transformation possible, connecting existing systems and pipeline intelligence into a single operating layer that all Amazon Business Government and Enterprise sector teams use.
Responsibilities
- Build core decision-support tools: probability scoring models, sector-specific bid/no-bid frameworks
- Design and manage deal infrastructure: pipeline stages, capacity tracking, deal cycle instrumentation
- Build BI dashboards: WBR metrics, pipeline health, deal velocity, loss pattern visualization
- Integrate disconnected systems creatively — APIs, EDI, bots/RPA, middleware, or novel approaches
- Support a deal similarity engine: tag wins/losses with patterns, build recommendation logic for capture strategy
- Career development: coordinate with partner tech teams to connect Bid Capture workflows to their roadmaps
- Evaluate and pilot AI tools for proposal acceleration and capture intelligence
Requirements
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

USA, TX, Austin - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
