BI Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Position Title: BI Reporting & Analytics Specialist Location: Dallas, TX Start date: 17/06/2024 End date: 16/12/2024 - 4-6 month contract with potential to extend Locals needed or candidates from TX who can relocate to job location Work Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid- Will be onsite at first then potentially move to Hybrid & being on-site 1-2 days/weekly. Schedule: M-F 8a -5p (35-45 hrs/wk) Communication skills must be excellent. Interview Style: (On-site, Phone, Video-Web Ex) – Likely Video-Webex due to how quickly we would like to onboard – possibly in person if it fits schedule.Any chance of Temp-to-Perm Conversion for this position? There is potential but we do not currently have a position budgeted. Imp Skills Looking for someone with more business experience/acumen in commercial/finance that also has STRONG Power BI Skills. Description Top 3-5 Required Technical Skills:Proficient in Power BI and in Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated, quick and responsive. Ability to create dashboards, KPI’s and other visual reporting deliverables based from business partner conversations Ability and experience working with limited level of supervision Knowledge of department metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics. Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysisTop 3-5 Preferred Skills : Familiar with Snowflake & SQL query languages. Ability to clearly communicate and work cross-functionally with other support/back office roles as well as sales team. Previous experience in working in Marketing or Commercial side of a business and with various IT related Business roles.
