BI Developer II - Information Systems

Responsibilities

• Met with users to understand business/hospital problems.
• Developed a work plan and timetable for delivery.
• Coordinated efforts within the department to achieve desired applications.
• Contacted users on an interim basis for feedback on project development.
• Supervised projects of other programming team members and communicated progress to the Programming Manager.
• Trained and assisted users on new applications.
• Aided in the development of custom interfaces to integrate Information Systems resources.
• Continued software support by providing upgrades/enhancements/fixes as needed.
• Aided in the evaluation of new technologies hospital-wide and their application to meet user information needs.
• Kept accurate and timely records of project status in HelpDesk system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in data analytics, data management, software development, or information technology in a healthcare environment.
• Detailed knowledge of healthcare and hospital business operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Epic's reporting suite of analytical tools.
• Cogito Epic certification or experience using the Cogito application preferred.

Qualifications

Proactive problem-solving skills and strong technical expertise in Microsoft database technologies (MS SQL Server, Visual Basic, scripting/interface tools).

Pay

Salaried; Exempt Position: $63,400 - $101,000 A Year
