About the role

The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of medical billing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and requirements
• Develop and implement new payment solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Work closely with product management to define and prioritize features
• Contribute to the design and development of new products and services
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting healthcare payments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing and payment systems
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript

• Knowledge of healthcare-specific APIs and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
