Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain cross-functional business domain dashboards and reports using BI tools, such as Microsoft Power BI or similar
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse, Traffic, Manufacturing, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Finance, or Accounting to understand business processes, reporting needs, and strategic priorities
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations and reporting logic
- Define project scope, gather requirements, create timelines, manage backlogs, and ensure the timely delivery of BI products
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights
- Lead complex projects, influence partners, and communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels
- Establish and enforce data governance, validation rules, and transformation logic to ensure data consistency across systems
- Collaborate with data engineering team to optimize data pipelines, ensure data quality, and improve data availability
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience with traditional data warehouse architectures, such as centralized data warehouse, data mart
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data modeling concepts (start schema, dimensional modeling, semantic design)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
- Solid understanding of historical, snapshot, and incremental data processing patterns
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g. Databricks, Hive, Snowflake schemas)
- Exposure to data science tools or methodologies (Python, R, machine learning concepts)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, Jira)
- Proven experience managing data-driven initiatives using project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus
