Responsibilities
- Kick off each morning with a collaborative team huddle, discussing client needs and daily goals.
- Interact directly with clients, providing compassionate care and facilitating activities that promote recovery.
- Encourage and motivate individuals as they navigate their challenges while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Document client progress and contribute to care plans, ensuring that everyone’s journey is tracked and celebrated.
- Problem-solve with your team, brainstorming creative approaches to enhance care.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of full-time behavioral health experience is essential, with a preference for candidates showcasing long-term sobriety or a degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven empathetic nature and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical proficiency in using documentation tools and following established protocols, including the Assisted Self-Administration of medication in the absence of a registered nurse.
- Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card and demonstrate the ability to secure CPR and First Aid training certification.
- Commitment to ongoing development, attending clinical oversight and training sessions each month to stay current in best practices and quality care.
Skills
- Peer support specialist under the supervision of a licensed behavioral health professional.
- Assist in assessments, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, and discharge planning.
- Assist in medication administration when a registered nurse is not available.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have fingerprint clearance card pursuant to A.R.S.36-411 or ability to apply for one within 20 working days of employment.
- The ability to obtain CPR and First Aid training and certification.
- Behavioral Health Technician must have at least one year of full-time behavioral health experience; preference will be given to candidates who possess long term sobrietyand/or a degree from an accredited higher education institution.
