BHT Supervisor 2nd Shift

About the role

This position supports the Director of Operations with the daily supervision of the BHT Supervisor’s while providing a safe environment for the clients in treatment.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure the BHT’s ability to maintain the client’s well-being during the treatment process is monitored.
• Answers questions and addresses concerns the client may have regarding the treatment process.
• Assists with the admission process for new client intake and orientation procedures.
• Schedules appointments and provides guidance/assistance to BHTs as it relates to client support and concerns.
• Makes sure the clients completing the mental health program are being monitored with emphasis on client safety and their well-being by performing rounds every 30 minutes within the facility.
• Ensures all BHT staff work schedules are covered appropriately.
• Maintains a Standard Infection Control Precaution policy.
• Participates in all staff meetings as scheduled as well as lead BHT meetings and cascade information to all BHTs.
• Ensures all BHT staff complete required trainings in a timely manner.
• Maintains client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Promotes quality client care at all times.
• Reports and responds to safety concerns (client & staff) timely.
• Submits lab requisitions for required testing of clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Vocational training preferred in a related field.
• Experience as BHT supervisor, or 2 years of supervising experience in the medical field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a health care setting for client care.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• One year of continuous sobriety prior to hire, if a recovering alcoholic or drug addict and participation in a self-help program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to pivot with little or no notice.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
