About the role

Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine is a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility providing acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults experiencing severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder. We are seeking a Behavioral Health / Mental Health Tech to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Helps provide care for patients with mental health issues
• Participates in the joint venture/Professional partnerships between NHC, Tennova and University of Tennessee - Knoxville
• Works in a 64-bed acute inpatient setting
• Oversight of IOP/PHP (Intensive Outpatient Program/Polypharmacy Hospitalization)
• Treatment of adult and geriatric clients
• Provides acute intervention with short-term stays

Requirements

• CNA certification preferred
• One (1) year experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
• Basic computer skills
