About the role
BHS is seeking a Child Psychiatry Resident to join our team. This position offers a comprehensive training program designed to prepare residents for successful careers in child psychiatry.
Responsibilities
Under supervision, the Child Psychiatry Resident will:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for children and adolescents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Participate in research projects related to child and adolescent mental health
- Assist in teaching medical students and residents
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in psychiatry
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children and families
- A strong interest in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
Preferred skills include:
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in child psychiatry
- Experience with telehealth services
- Ability to work with diverse populations

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
