About the role

BHS is seeking a Child Psychiatry Resident to join our team. This position offers a comprehensive training program designed to prepare residents for successful careers in child psychiatry.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, the Child Psychiatry Resident will:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for children and adolescents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Participate in research projects related to child and adolescent mental health
• Assist in teaching medical students and residents

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in psychiatry
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children and families
• A strong interest in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

Preferred skills include:

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in child psychiatry

Pay

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
