About the role

HAICA is seeking films that evoke emotion, provoke thought, or challenge perspectives—works that demonstrate how human creativity drives generative AI, not the other way around. Whether it's advertising, short films, music videos, or experimental projects, what matters is not how a film was made, but why it exists.

Requirements

• Submissions must be in the "Bewegtbild" (motion picture) category and created with at least 60% generative AI involvement.
• Generative AI may be used for imagery, animation, music composition, voice creation, or as part of a hybrid production process.
• The evaluation focuses on the final result, not the workflow.

Fees

The "Commercial" category is the only paid submission category, with a fee of €150 per project. Your participation supports the HAICA Awards and helps build an independent platform for creative excellence in the age of generative AI.
