Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service.
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Monitor guest’s alcohol consumption and inform the Beverage Manager or Assistant Beverage Manager if a guest demonstrates signs of intoxication.
  • Count and balance bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ring up all beverage transactions accurately and provide correct change.
  • Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
  • Understand and adhere to the Dram Shop Act and related bartender responsibilities.
  • Follow all gaming and beverage regulations.
  • Participate in team efforts to ensure efficient operational standards.
  • Conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to three years of bartending experience.
  • One year of cash handling experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and apply mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive guest relations.
  • Consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Ability to pass applicable auditions or skill testing and a drug screening test.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartender responsibilities.
  • Understanding of all Gaming and beverage regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established guidelines.
  • Good judgment in providing information to guests.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work any and all shifts.
