Beverage Server

JOB SUMMARY

Position Summary
Responsible for providing beverage service to all casino guests in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner, displaying a high standard of guest service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service to casino guests
• Performing necessary tasks to service guests, i.e., taking and filling all beverage orders and assisting and maintaining guests gaming area in a clean and neat manner
• Monitoring guests’ needs on a continual basis, ensuring all beverage requests are promptly filled
• Assisting other beverage personnel with maintenance, including opening/closing duties, as necessary
• Cleaning unwanted debris from the guests gaming area such as bottles, cups, glasses, paper, and empty ashtrays
• Helping refill beverage supplies at all service stations
• Requesting identification from guests when legal age is in question
• Utilizing proper call order when ordering beverages from bartender in a courteous manner
• Helping keep service wells stocked, clean, and sanitary
• Staying current on department and property promotions and compliance guidelines
• Performing all other duties specified or assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must attend and pass TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures)
• Ability to communicate with Team members and guests

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent – Experience preferred.
