About the role
Arizona Charlie’s, LLC offers career opportunities in hospitality, gaming, and entertainment. As a Beverage Server, you will support the beverage department by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service to guests while upholding the company’s guest service standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
- Take orders, serve drinks, and assist guests with beverage options in a professional and engaging manner.
- Accurately follow all cash handling and Micros POS procedures.
- Request identification from guests when legal age is questioned.
- Follow all food and beverage regulations and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company policies, Title 31, and federal regulations (if applicable).
- Provide outstanding guest service to both guests and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Obtain and maintain all required work cards (Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Card).
- Verify right to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a beverage server or in a customer service-related role preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
- Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist.
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer.
- Frequently standing and walking.
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person.
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
Work Environment
- Indoor, potentially smoky, and noisy conditions.
- Bright flashing lights.
- Slippery surfaces.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and/or gases.
