Beverage Server

About the role

The Beverage Server is responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Taking orders from guests and returning these orders in a timely manner.
• Keeping the wok area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performing “responsible alcohol service” with regards to guest limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Handling all transactions according to the cash handling policy.
• Using all bar equipment and BERG Beverage System as needed.
• Ensuring the safety and security of Team Members and guests.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Maintaining positive and productive relationships among all Team Members and guests.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months of work experience in serving is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The Team Member is subjected to circulating throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
