Beverage Merchandiser

North Florida Sales is a locally owned and operated company, serving the needs of beer lovers in North Florida for more than 30 years. Founded in 1995, we strive to be a leader in sales and service in the beverage industry in Jacksonville and Lake City, Florida, representing brands such as Budweiser®, Michelob, Corona®, Shock Top, and Bold City.

About the role

As an Off Premise Merchandiser, you will merchandise supermarket and club stores by performing the following duties. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on each assigned day at the assigned time (schedule subject to change as needed).
• Follow an established daily route sequence to ensure all customers receive proper service.
• Fill store coolers and shelves with product for resale.
• Rotate all product at every location on every stop to ensure freshness per North Florida Sales and Anheuser-Busch guidelines.
• Build displays as directed by Off Premise Sales Reps or store personnel.
• Organize and consolidate back stock area on each store visit.
• Listen to and attempt to resolve customer complaints when possible, or ensure customer satisfaction by informing your immediate supervisor.
• Work closely with Team Leader and sales reps to ensure all customer needs are met.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Maintain NFS’ culture of dignity and respect and work as a productive team member.
• Attend North Florida Sales meetings as required.
• Adhere to all Anheuser-Busch policies and all State Beverage Laws.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Wear only company-provided uniforms.
• Check mailbox daily for sale updates, customer call-ins, and other pertinent information.
• Be responsible for all equipment supplied by the company, including but not limited to vehicle, phone, pass key, and uniforms.
• Keep company vehicle clean at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Driver’s License and safe driving record meeting MVR guidelines maintained during entire length of employment.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.
• Regularly required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly and consistently lift and move up to 35 pounds repetitively.

Schedule

This position requires working early morning hours, and weekends may be mandatory for some routes.

Pay

Starting pay is $19 per hour, increasing to $20 per hour after 90 days.
