Beverage Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fountains, vending machines, coolers, and other beverage dispensing equipment to customer satisfaction
• Properly manage tools, parts, and maintain accurate records and reports per Company standards
• Operate handheld devices to track delivery, removal, movement records, and parts inventory accountability
• Drive safely and complete DOT daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
• Complete all assigned safety training and adhere to all safety policies
• Maintain proper use, possession, and accountability for parts, tools, supplies, and keys
• Complete required training and keep related documentation current

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Up to 12 months of relevant work experience

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to drive and ride for long periods
• Experience using refrigeration tools, refrigeration scales, electrical and cordless tools, general hand tools, and electronic devices
• Ability to work inside and outside customer locations in uncontrolled temperatures
• Experience in the electrical and/or refrigeration field required

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• EPA Level 1 Refrigeration certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification
• Ability to pass company certification programs for equipment repair and safety (e.g., BEST, FAST, Advanced Refrigeration)

Work Environment

Exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
