About the role
The Beverage Control Clerk plays a key role in managing the inventory and operations of beverage-related products across multiple venues at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino. This position oversees the delivery, warehousing, and maintenance of all F&B related inventory, ensuring that supplies are always available to meet projected needs.
Responsibilities
- Manages deliveries and warehousing of beverage-related products from vendors and the Service Center.
- Orders all beverage related items directly from vendors for the resort.
- Maintains and rotates inventory, ensuring FIFO compliance.
- Ensures proper change of kegs, CO2, nitrogen tanks, and liquor bottles.
- Maintains consistent stocked levels and accurately tracks inventory worth $1.5 to $2 Million.
- Conducts maintenance and troubleshoots all Berg Systems, Glycol Units, Keg room systems, and Pepsi equipment.
- Completes and submits all beverage control-related paperwork as required.
- Communicates with relevant departments regarding inventories, transfers, and requisition concerns.
- Reports any delivery shortages or mis-picks to Food & Beverage Management.
- Performs physical inventories and reconciles variances as needed.
- Adjusts average supply levels based on changes in inventory usage.
- Cleans, prepares, and organizes all beverage storage areas.
- Disposes of out-of-date products and requests removal from inventory.
- Reports safety violations and/or property damage.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a warehouse and/or inventory control operation required.
- At least 21 years of age.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Experience with Eatec and other inventory tracking software preferred.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide friendly service.
- Physical requirements: strength sufficient to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, mobility to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, and enter/exit vehicles, endurance to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods, and visual acuity to perform tasks requiring close visual acuity.
