About the role

Support manufacturing engineering initiatives, including equipment standards and vendor scorecard development. Assist in developing and implementing technical standards, work instructions, and training materials for production and technical teams. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with plant engineers, operations personnel, and maintenance teams to enhance processes. Collect and analyze process data, identify trends and assist in reporting weekly and monthly performance metrics. Support preparation of cost tracking and production-related data for budgeting activities. Assist with training operators and technicians on basic process and equipment knowledge. Help develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions (WI), FMEAs, control plans, process flows, and SOPs. Participate in new equipment and automation implementation activities under guidance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience (internships/co-ops applicable).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma concepts preferred).
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
