About the Role
BestDrive, a subsidiary of Continental, is a leading provider of commercial tire solutions, offering high-quality products and services to fleet customers. We specialize in Continental and General Tire brands, innovative solutions like ContiPressureCheck, and a wide range of multi-brand truck tires. With 25 locations across the U.S. and rapid expansion plans, we're seeking a Tire Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Dismount, mount, balance, and repair Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck tires.
- Perform tire and related services for off-the-road equipment (construction, earthmoving, mining, farm, etc.).
- Conduct 2- and 4-wheel alignments on passenger cars and light/medium trucks, buses, and motor coaches.
- Repair or replace suspension components as needed.
- Utilize above-ground lifts for brake repairs and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Order, stock, and inventory parts for alignment and brake repairs.
- Review work orders, discuss tasks with supervisors, and document work accurately.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with trailer mechanics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of mechanic or alignment experience.
- TIA certification.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Work hours: typically 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible Saturdays and evenings on short notice.
- Indoor and outdoor work environments with exposure to heat and cold.
- Physical demands: standing, bending, climbing, lifting (75-100 lbs routinely, up to 150 lbs occasionally), and walking.
- Handling hazardous materials and wearing protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, eyewear, etc.).

Sign-On Bonus
Eligible external candidates may receive a sign-on bonus based on the Service Technician level hired into:
- Service Technician I – $1,500
- Service Technician II – $2,500
- Service Technician III – $3,500
- Service Technician IV – $4,500
The bonus is paid in installments after 30, 90, and 180 days of continued employment, subject to eligibility requirements.
