About the role

The Bodyshop Porter assists with bodyshop write-up and tagging customer cars and trucks. Provides rides to customers' homes and employers. Cleans the area around the service department and showroom. Performs pickups and deliveries. Goes on dealer trades.

Responsibilities

• Aid in bodyshop write-up and tagging customer vehicles.
• Give customers rides to their home and employer.
• Clean the area around the service department and showroom.
• Perform pickups and deliveries.
• Go on dealer trades.
• Handle all paperwork involved.
• Inspect both the vehicle being serviced and the unit being received for perfect condition and missing equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
• Passes a drug test screening.
• Passes a background check screening.
• Manual dexterity and good driving record.
• Good judgment.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Capable of driving across surrounding states to pick up vehicles.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
