Job Summary

Political Fundraising Firm in New York City is seeking a Deputy Finance Director position to aid in the advancement and fundraising of New York City & State clients for the 2026 cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive fundraising plans for several clients
  • Manage client relationships and donor cultivation efforts
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute fundraising strategies
  • Oversee financial reporting and analysis for clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or fundraising
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Experience working with political campaigns and/or non-profits
  • Knowledge of campaign finance laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work required
