About the role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and fellows.
  • Experience in general hematology and benign/malignant hematology.
  • May include care of patients in the outpatient practices at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and inpatient call.

Requirements

  • Expertise in the specific area of hematology & benign hematology.
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Qualifications

  • 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
