Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides front desk HR support as the daily initial point of contact for walk-ins and phone calls.
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding benefit services, payroll deduction, and retirement information.
  • Initiates new hire outreach and follows up on any outstanding deliverables.
  • Provides HR ticketing system support by taking on duties of air traffic control (ATC), including directing tickets and phone calls to appropriate HR teams.
  • Supports cyclical eligibility audit processes.
  • Affords support for the bill payment process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. 1-2 years of related experience in a customer service capacity.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office.
  • Ability to comfortably lead employee presentations and meetings.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: 2+ years of direct experience in benefits administration, human resources, or customer support preferred.
  • Advanced-level experience in MS Office.
  • Direct experience developing and/or leading group presentations, meetings, or events—both instructor-led and virtual.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • The incumbent works in a typical office environment, relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards.
