Benefits Representative 1

Delivers exceptional service and counseling to MIT faculty, staff, retirees, beneficiaries, and vested terminated employees/retirees, while providing administrative support for plan administration.

Responsibilities

• Answer participant inquiries regarding benefits
• Provide plan enrollment counseling
• Process transactions and solve problems for faculty, staff, and retirees
• Advocate for participants
• Analyze requests against relevant benefit plan provisions
• Enter complex benefit transactions into various vendors and MIT systems and databases

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of related experience
