Essentials
- Affords assistance with the annual retirement budget
- Executes manual audits on contributions, deferral elections, and integrations
- Prepares contribution trackers for quarterly contributions
- Reviews monthly plan reporting
- Supports quality control procedures
- Collaborates with the Manager, Benefits & Retirement for annual audits, financial statement preparation, and Form 5500 filings
- Updates plan administration manuals
- Supports Benefits Committee meetings by preparing minutes
- Assists with special projects and other retirement administration tasks as directed
- Enhances the Human Resources department’s brand through positive interactions with personnel and external vendors and consultants
- Manages annual Partner 401(k) open enrollment
Qualifications / Position Requirements
- Displays commitment to quality and excellent client service
- Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects with minimal direction
- Handles information confidentially and sensitively, demonstrating strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and troubleshooting
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
- Organizes efficiently, paying close attention to detail and ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Adapts to a fast-paced, evolving work environment
- Willing to work outside standard business hours as needed
Education And/or Experience
- Obtains a bachelor’s degree; coursework in retirement, accounting, or a related quantitative field is preferred
- Accumulates at least 5 years of experience in benefits or accounting, with at least 2 years of retirement-related responsibilities
- Develops robust Excel skills, including advanced features and troubleshooting
Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 - $115,000. Salary offers are determined by a variety of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignments, and market and organizational considerations.
