Based in Miami, Florida (easy highway access from Miami-Dade and South Broward).
Schedule
Monday – Friday, business hours. Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 remote day.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend funding strategies across Fully Insured, Level-Funded, and Self-Funded plans.
- Manage regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA), execute federal filings (Form 5500), and mitigate risk.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with benefit vendors, brokers, and consultants.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated experience managing U.S. employee benefits programs, with expertise in healthcare benefits in both Florida and California.
- Strong experience with Self-Funded and Fully Insured health plans.
- Experience working with external benefits brokers or consulting firms.
- Experience rolling out 401(k) plans.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on HRIS platform experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
