Benefits Analyst - Health and Welfare

Overview Of Position

As part of the Total Rewards & Wellbeing team, this role supports the governance, compliance, analysis, and operational execution of Assurant’s benefits programs, with primary focus on health and welfare benefits, regulatory requirements, vendor administration, financial tracking, and program reporting. The role helps strengthen compliance readiness, improve data quality, support informed decision-making, and enable efficient program management across the Benefits function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in benefits administration, total rewards, compensation & benefits, or related HR analytical roles.
• Advanced Excel skills e.g., formula reading/writing, pivot tables, V-lookups.
• Benefits audits, compliance filing familiarity.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements/Helpful Skills

• Familiarity with Workday and ADP.
• Vendor management experience.

Pay

$64,900.00 - $108,200.00
