About the role
Working within a service team of Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and others, along with consultants/sales producers, the Benefits Account Manager plays a key role in delivering a client experience that achieves the quality and service standards developed by the agency.
Responsibilities
- Serve Benefits clients (large groups of 100+) including both client companies and their employees.
- Lead pre-renewal, renewal, and enrollment processes.
- Serve as a resource to clients on daily service needs, current market conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Timely and accurately document in agency management systems.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of employee benefits experience, to include group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products.
- Experience with self-funded plans a plus.
- Well versed in customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficient in computer software applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe.
- Experience with BenefitPoint ImageRight helpful.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful.
Required Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Required Travel
- Negligible.
Required Education
- High school or equivalent.

- Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license, to be obtained within sixty days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
