Bench Jeweler (On-site)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of Company merchandise and make accurate assessments of merchandise quality and condition.
• Maintain the shop and personal workspace in a clean, organized, presentable, and efficient manner.
• Provide cost estimates for additional shop/jeweler personalization options based on customer desires.
• Findings inventory and consult with staff and customers as needed to meet customer needs.
• Manage safety and security protocols, including shop equipment and chemicals.
• Pursue personal and shop improvement and development.
• Use technology such as computers and iPads for shop job tracking.
• Collaborate professionally, efficiently, and courteously with all Store and Company staff, fostering teamwork and respect.
• Support other shops and the home office during work overflows or special projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior bench experience preferred.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• High level of visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to provide and receive feedback and adapt behavior with coaching.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Able to effectively manage deadlines.
• Basic communication skills in both written and spoken English, as well as basic math.

Base Pay range for this role is $26 to $50 per hour, which applies to this specific role in this location only. Additional benefits include:

Work Environment

Work is done on-site in stores, with weekend and evening availability required. The store is closed on 7 major holidays each year. Hours are Monday to Wednesday 10 AM to 7 PM, Thursday to Friday 10 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday 10 to 6, Sunday noon to 5 PM.
