About the role

Jewelers at Helzberg Diamonds provide high-quality jewelry repair services to clients in designated stores, ensuring timely completion to support store sales and deliver a five-star shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the effective movement of client repairs while maintaining quality and turn-around time acceptable to the client.
• Ensure gold stock, findings, and loose stones are properly maintained and accounted for by accurately completing paperwork and storing materials correctly.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies without excess to properly manage supply expense dollars.
• Maximize financial return of precious metal recoveries (hard scrap, filings, sweeps, vacuum bags, etc.) by following proper asset recovery procedures.
• Adhere to all safety-related procedures to reduce the risk of accidents.
• Assist in training store associates on repair policies and procedures to ensure consistency in communicating repair information.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, plus two to four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery, and equipment, along with advanced jewelry repair expertise.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
