Bench Jeweler

About the role

We're a busy, growing shop with consistent volume and we need someone who can deliver clean, precise setting work and maintain high standards at the bench.

Responsibilities

• Set diamonds and gemstones (prong, pave, channel, etc.) with precision and consistency.
• Handle stone tightening, repairs, and ring sizing.
• Perform polishing and finishing to production standards.
• Work with gold, platinum, and other precious metals.
• Maintain quality control so every piece leaving the bench is clean and secure.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience in diamond/gem setting (not entry-level).
• Confident working under a microscope and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Consistent, detail-focused work with a steady hand.
• Able to keep quality high while meeting production timelines.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and professional at the bench.

Qualifications

• Experience with prong, pave, and channel settings.
• Knowledge of gold, platinum, and other precious metals.
• Ability to maintain high standards of precision and quality.

Pay

$25-$30/hour (based on experience). For highly experienced diamond and gem setters, we are open to discussing a higher, competitive rate based on bench test performance.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday (day shift).
