Bench - Deli/Bakery Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly guest service from the deli/bakery staff.
• Achieve sales, shrink, and profit goals for the department.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and product quality standards.
• Operate according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.
• Train, guide, and evaluate employees to ensure performance standards.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manage labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by management, including PA announcements.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Strong reading, understanding, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of deli operations and supervision experience.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective guest service, selling, and communication skills.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to communicate with management.
